MSD COVID 19 Update 3/16/20 6:05 PM

March 16, 2020

Dear Moraga School District Parent and Guardians,

Due to the rapidly changing environment of federal, state and local guidance in response to the novel coronavirus COVID-19, and in light of today’s Order from Contra Costa Health Services to shelter-in-place through April 7th, the Moraga School District must once again adjust our plans to meet the needs of our community.

This evening, your child’s teacher(s) will send you a plan for supplemental learning activities.  Our goal is to maintain and reinforce prior learning rather than provide instruction on new information. These plans are recommended to support student learning but are not required.  Students will be able to access any of these resources with any Internet connected device. If you do not have such a device or home Internet access please contact your school’s principal.

Protecting public health requires a community-wide response, and we need the help of all Moraga families to help remain united in our response and follow today’s Contra County Health Service Orders.

Continue to watch your email for communications from the District.

The Moraga School District website is the best source for information during the closure.

Thank you for your partnership.

Sincerely,

Bruce K. Burns, Superintendent
